But while your truck is built to work hard, available technologies such as BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert and Trailer Tow, Trailer Reverse Guidance and SYNC® 3 help you work smarter and more productively. These are optional features you can get on Super Duty XL and XLT models.

  • REAR SEAT STORAGE AND FLAT LOAD FLOOR

    You will appreciate the convenience of Super Duty® interior design when you need to carry cargo and other items inside the cab. Both the SuperCab and Crew Cab models have a class-exclusive* rear flat load floor that helps make it easy to load large cargo. The SuperCab features rear hinged doors that open 170 degrees for easy loading. And the four-door Crew Cab offers an available class-exclusive* folding lockable under-seat box (shown) for storing loose items or things you would want to keep concealed and secure.

  • CLASS-EXCLUSIVE BLIS® (BLIND SPOT INFORMATION SYSTEM)

    Only in a Ford Super Duty® will you find the available BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert and Trailer Tow.* BLIS® signals you in the outside mirror when a vehicle is detected in a blind spot — and provides coverage for the truck you are driving as well as the trailer you are towing. The Cross-Traffic Alert feature (for the truck only) can detect a vehicle passing behind when you are slowly backing out of a driveway or parking place.1

    Todays Ford Super Duty® is the toughest heavy-duty pickup we have ever built. We started by cutting body weight with high-strength and aluminum alloy. We then invested some of that weight savings where it really counts - in stronger axles, steering and chassis components, and a fully boxed frame built of over 95 percent high-strength steel¹. The result is a Super Duty that boasts class-leading payload and towing².

  • HIGH-STRENGTH, MILITARY-GRADE, ALUMINUM-ALLOY BODY

    The Super Duty® has the only high-strength, military-grade, aluminum-alloy body in its class*. Aluminum alloy is substantially lighter than the previous body, yet it is remarkably strong. It is also more dent-and-ding resistant and not subject to red rust corrosion. Use of aluminum alloy allowed some of the weight savings to be reinvested where it matters the most, especially in the frame that is the foundation of strength and toughness. *Class is Full-Size Pickups over 3,856 kgs.   • FULLY BOXED HIGH-STRENGTH STEEL FRAME

    The fully boxed frame, built of over 95 percent high-strength steel with up to 10 crossmembers, is 24 times stiffer than the previous design. The frame is designed to minimize flexing and twisting while maximizing strength and torsional rigidity - and serves foundation for Super Duty achieving the highest payload and tow ratings in its class.*

  • ENGINEERED FOR THE EXTREMES

    We committed this latest generation of the Super Duty® to over 19 million kilometers of testing, under real and simulated conditions. We also put prototype models in the hands of people like you. Our goal: Build a line of heavy-duty pickups with extraordinary performance and capability.

    Super Duty® was tested at temperatures from -28 to 50 degrees. Powertrain tests replicated going up a six-degree grade over 805 kilometers. Super Duty was also subjected to four-post frame twists, gravel, dust, water, brine, mud baths, and even intentionally tested with worn or broken parts. Such extreme conditions often went far beyond what you would likely encounter on your toughest of jobs.

  • ADVANCETRAC® WITH RSC® AND TRAILER SWAY CONTROL

    Super Duty® comes with standard AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control™ (RSC®) and Trailer Sway Control on both single and dual-rear-wheel models. Both systems use gyroscopic sensors and apply a combination of reduced engine power and selective wheel braking to help maintain the stability of the vehicle and the trailer in tow*. * Remember that even advanced technology cannot overcome the laws of physics. It's always possible to lose control of a vehicle due to inappropriate driver input for the conditions.

  • BEST-IN-CLASS TOWING

    The Ford Super Duty® has a maximum conventional towing capacity of 9,525 kgs. - higher than any other heavy-duty pickup.* Super Duty features a strong fully boxed frame made of over 95 percent high-strength steel; hefty axle, suspension and driveline components; plus a factory-installed weight-carrying hitch built into the frame.

    Reducing body weight by up to 159 kgs. and making the frame 24 times stiffer* - together, these contribute to 3,465 kgs. maximum payload rating that is the best in its class.** And Super Duty has available features to help you get the most out of all this capability: class-exclusive BoxLink to secure accessories, center high-mount stop lamp camera, LED box lights, class-exclusive remote tailgate release/power-locking tailgate, and class-exclusive* tailgate step.

  • 6.2L FLEX-FUEL GAS V8

    No other gas-powered heavy-duty full-size pickup matches the 583 N.m of torque of the Super Duty® 6.2L Flex-Fuel V8.* The 6.2L is engineered to deliver peak torque at lower rpm and generates high torque throughout the midrange of the power band. Shifting is noticeably seamless with the Ford TorqShift® G 6-speed (F-250). Plus, optional Live-Drive Power Takeoff (PTO) Provision with Mobile Mode is available with the 6.2L in the F-350.

  • 6.7L POWER STROKE® TURBO DIESEL

    The available B20-capable 6.7L Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel V8 delivers best-in-class* 330 horsepower and 1,017 N.m of torque. The Power Stroke features a unique inverse-flow configuration: the exhaust manifolds and turbocharger are mounted between the cylinder heads above the engine block. This inboard configuration allows a large single turbocharger to be mounted closer to the exhaust manifolds for faster air displacement and more power. Another notable feature is the compacted graphite iron engine block that is stronger yet lighter than cast iron.

  • FORD TORQSHIFT® G 6-SPEED AUTOMATIC

    The 6.2L gas V8 with best-in-class torque* features the Ford TorqShift® G 6-speed automatic in the F-250. Experience responsive power delivery and seamlessly smooth shifting. The SelectShift® feature includes Progressive Range Select (for overdrive lockout) plus Full Manual. Tow/Haul minimizes gear hunting uphill; downhill, it prevents upshifting and gaining speed, and reduces reliance on brake pressure to slow the vehicle.
